Stemming from an early-stage idea to create an accelerator program that intersects software entrepreneurs with opportunities originating from within the energy capital of the world, this project began with an extensive naming process. Taking founder Kirk Coburn's love for the ocean, we landed on a metaphorical concept that speaks to the energy corridor. SURGE was born.
Following the naming process, we designed and developed SURGE's logo, business cards, collateral and stage-one website, and helped coordinate the first ever global SURGE Day event at The House Of Blues in Houston, Texas. Bringing together entrepreneurs, mentors and capital on an annual basis, SURGE now ranks as one of the Top 10 Accelerators in United States.
